Betsy Alexander

Betsy Twitchell Alexander grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut. She developed an interest in photography in the years following college, but painting was always a hobby until the pandemic jump-started her career in 2020. Since that time, she has produced over 40 original works and an additional 20 reproductions. While largely self-taught, occasional online and in-person classes have helped her refine her representational style of painting. She has resided in Maryland since 1984.
